The start is made! The MainCleanUp started on Saturday, March 11th, with garbage collection campaigns in Lichtenfels, Frankfurt, Gädheim, Lohr, Marktheidenfeld, Rüsselsheim and Kulmbach. But that's just the beginning: More CleanUps will follow in the next few days. A total of 50 groups have registered for this campaign, which takes place as part of the "Main FlussFilmFest".
RhineCleanUp initiator Joachim Umbach and Main coordinator were there at the start in Kulmbach to support the washies in organizing their CleanUp. The start-up company from Upper Franconia is a committed RCU sponsor. And: His employees lend a hand. The Waschies produce sustainable make-up removal pads. All CleanUp participants were rewarded with a make-up removal set. Washing boss Carolin Schuberth was praised for her commitment by Kulmbach's mayor Ralf Hartnack for the local campaign she initiated.
